Toh kuch aisa hai, ke aaj bas mann kar gaya blogging karne ka! :)

There was stuff that I wanted to write about parents and then there was stuff that I wanted to write about kids. Safe topics you see, since I do not fall in either of the categories! :D

I'd already talked about parents in a previous post, so this one'll be about kids.
Not about how much I love them or how many I plan to have.. (oh yes, we 'girls' have it all figured out! :D :D ).. but their histrionics of which we are an audience often.

So today I'd called up my GjaG (jijaji.. brother-in-law) and Di, who, by the way, happen to be hassled parents of two adorable but naughty kiddos. Ya, regular kids. :-)

He was telling me how my niece was trying to climb on the grill of the window etc. Now she's young ok.. like.. a year and a half.. and she's already turning out to be a superwoman (or a terrorist?.. take your pick! )

It reminded me of another niece who because of 'influence' of these SUPER-character cartoons had tied a scarf on the window grill and her neck and tried defying gravity. She wanted to fly.

Yes, fly.

We all can imagine that followed. I do not have the guts to even write about the gutsy girl's landing.

So while we were exchanging these kissa kahaniyaas.. He told me one that shook me. Made me come and narrate it here. Goes like :

Stars : Twin brothers (say A and B) , very very naughty, around 4 years old.
Act : A's reading a cartoon strip. He comes across this picture wherein the character is shown with stars around his head.. dazed etc. ( you get it, right? ) So he generally ponders over it.
"Bhai, ye iske sar ke uppar aise stars kaise aaye? Ye kaise dikhte hain? "

Apna B bhai is cool. Rock star cool. He believes in practical, not theory.
Fetches a hammer, bajaos it on A's head and asks " Now you know how? "

* shivering.. I still am *

Stuff can be funny at times, but kiddos and parents and families, please..
