When I'd first read this quote by Thomas Jefferson, I just knew it had to be put up here.. it had to be shared. So when I googled to find a pic that can do justice to this one, I found the pic above... and the person who'd posted the pic had used the same quote with it! Things just fall together at times! :)
Everyone's got their own unique way of interpreting what they come across.. People absorb differently from what they hear and read.. It is also dependent on the developments taking place around you and the frame of mind you are in.
This quote has been my mantra for long now.. in times when I even remotely feel like giving things up.. I am reminded of this.. and it brings along a new tiny ray of hope.. which tells me to hold on...hang in there... till it all falls back into place... or makes a place of its own.
There're times we're this close to achieving what we were running after... and in the final lap, we start losing steam.. all hope goes down the drain.. and you feel you've done your best and had enough. It is in those times... that you need to grab on to every ounce of inner strength... and not let go...for the good is right there at the next corner!
I strongly believe that when you want something big... God's just trying to maybe evaluate if you even deserve it at that point of time.. so there's this little test that you've to go through to kinda prove that you're willing and able to fight for it.. This can seem insane to a lot of you.. but I need not be told the same! :D
Hang on to people you love... keep fighting for things you desire and believe you deserve... for if you fight just enough... you're gonna get it!
So... whenever you feel.. you've reached the end of your rope... tie a knot on it.. and hang on.

such a true post, it is so easy to give up and complain but needs much more strength and courage to hold on.. especially when circumstances are against you.
Once i've read somewhere "If you are going through hell, keep going" and i stick to it, whenever things go wrong, we have to move forward ot hold on because next moment everything might change.

Instead of focusing and finishing the task and moving on to the other...slowing down everytime and holding onto the rope end....(hanging on more than once and then accomplishing a task can also act as an ego booster - cant it - and can become a bad habit)
